About ROC

The Rotary Club of Crawley (ROC) was established in 2010 by a group of passionate people whose vision it was to create a club with a difference – modern and relevant to volunteering today while still upholding the traditional values of all Rotarians, being that of “Service above self”.

Our membership cohort is a blend of 50/50 men and women with members aged from 18 to 80+. Our medium age is around 42 years.

Our members join for many reasons which include making friends with positive like-minded people, networking, feeling part of a family, professional development, mentoring and of course giving back to the community. Our motto at ROC is “Serving with Heart” which keeps us focused on making the most of our time.

Currently, we are working on the following fundraising events: One In A Million, Christmas in July, The Street Doctor and Movie Lovers Club. Explore our website for more details on our signature projects.

We are situated on the UWA campus in Crawley at The University Club of Western Australia. We meet weekly for breakfast every Thursday. Our meetings alternate between a more formal event which usually involves a speaker and project meetings where we focus on projects and running the club. All members of the public are welcome to attend and see if our Rotary model is for you. We recommend you contact us before the meeting so we can make you feel welcome. Head to the Contact Us page to get in touch.

Sample meeting format:

Alternating Weeks

Formal Breakfast $35.00 per person (7.00 am till 8.30 am) in the upstairs UWA Club Restaurant.

Informal Coffee Meeting (7.30 am till 8.30 am) in the downstairs UWA Club Cafe.
