About the Event
Join us for an inspiring evening as we bring to life the reality of the fight to eradicate Polio in the Outback of Western Australia through the remarkable story of Robin Miller, best known as the "Sugar Bird Lady."
Keynote speaker Patsy Millett, sister of Robin Miller, will share the legacy of the Sugar Bird Lady, a life of 'Service Above Self', and her work with the Royal Flying Doctor Service during the second wave of Polio in the late 1960s.
All funds through ticket sales will be directed towards eradicating Polio in the remaining two countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan, through Rotary International’s End Polio Now Campaign.
