About the Event
Dean Arthurell of Carnaby Crusaders, Bindoon is knowledgeable and passionate about engaging the wider community to become involved to help save the Carnaby white tailed cockatoo.
Dean explains that Carnaby’s Crusaders Ltd are a Registered Not For Profit Charity.
We are an enterprise dedicated to supporting the recovery, breeding and preservation of habitat that supports Western Australia’s native Black Cockatoo species. We aim to ensure the survival and promote awareness of the importance of preserving the Carnaby’s natural habitat.
While we can boost numbers by providing Artificial Breeding Tubes on suitable sites, this is not a long-term solution to the viability of the species if we do not preserve and provide more natural feeding & breeding habitat for them.
5:30pm for a 6pm sit down.
A scrumptious buffet meal is included in the ticket price. Beer, wine & soft drinks will be on sale.
