About the Event
-NOTE CHANGE OF DATE TO NOVEMBER 6
Kalbarri Kid is a WA true story of grit, trauma and healing through horses. Tony Mourtiz is a war-era farm boy turned horse-whisperer to find and realise his dreams in Kalbarri. A lifetime bond pleasing an abusive father, supporting a family of five in the unforgiving outback and a life-changing bashing at his roadhouse, all had to be absorbed living a life of hardship, resilience and second chances.
Told through the lens of an ageing and introspective Tony, this short documentary is a moving portrait of masculinity, a rich insight into a different time and a man’s love affair with the noblest of creatures.
5:30pm for a 6pm sit-down.
A scrumptious Buffet meal is served. Beer & wine on sale.
