Rotary of Crawley in partnership with Cobham Aviation Services brings you BlueSky, an environmentally conscious way to explore and discover domestic destinations whilst supporting regional communities.
BlueSky encourages regional tourism that supports local industry in this difficult economic time and builds our connection with this beautiful State & its people. All profits raised go to the Rotary Club of Crawley’s service projects, ranging from youth empowerment, community relief support and global health initiatives.

BlueSky offsets the carbon emissions resulting from your flight by approximately 200%, through the planting of native forest around Australia. This helps tackle climate change and improve Australian biodiversity.
BlueSky 2020
The location for BlueSky 2020 is Kalgoorlie! Located in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, Kalgoorlie Boulder is situated 590 kilometres inland of Perth. The name Kalgoorlie is derived from the Wangai word Karlkurla, meaning "Place of the silky pears".
Kalgoorlie Boulder is Australia's largest Outback City with a population of more than 30,000 people. Here you'll find a modern and vibrant city with the largest urban centre in the Goldfields region and the fifth largest in Western Australia. You are guaranteed to uncover a wealth of treasures set against a backdrop of some of the world's best architecture.

Enjoy the comfortable ride on one of Cobham’s Q400’s. While onboard you will receive a light meal/snack and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including selected Cullen wines. Each passenger is entitled to 10kg of checked luggage and 7kg of hand luggage. Those who like to pack a few extras can pre-purchases additional luggage.

Check-in to the 4-star Ibis Styles Kalgoorlie where you'll be minutes from Western Australian Museum and close to Hammond Park. Lake Ballard Day Trip
BlueSky offers you a day trip to see Australia’s largest outdoor gallery on Lake Ballard called INSIDE AUSTRALIA.
The Lake Ballard salt lake holds 51 sculptures by Turner Prize-winning artist Antony Gormley which are all derived from laser scans of Menzies inhabitants. They were then cast in an alloy containing molybdenum, vanadium and titanium, materials that are found in the Achaean rock of Western Australia.
After enjoying some art and the stunning lake, we will have lunch at the iconic Menzies Hotel (self purchased).

BlueSky Dinner
People and connection is such an important part of travel and what better way to learn about Kalgoorlie than from the locals themselves? Join BlueSky and the Rotary Club of Kalgoorlie for a delicous buffet meal at the 123 year old Palace Hotel with local community memembers, including special guest Mayor John Bowler.
All funds raised from the dinner, including $5 from every ticket, go towards the 'Lift the Lid on Mental Illness' - Australian Rotary Health’s National annual fundraising day for mental health research.

Emergency Exit Seat
If you like to have a little extra leg room when you fly, you can purchase an emergency exit row seat. With extra room comes extra comfort but hurry, only 4 seats are available! Price includes the return flight.
